First Look: Asus Eee Box

The Eee Box is the all new super small form factor desktop from Asus. It's 8.5-inches high, 1-inch wide, and 7-inches deep. It's included with a stand or it can lay flat. To see all the official dimensions in detail, click here.

There will be three configurations available in the U.S.

• $269 - 1 GB of RAM, 80GB hard drive, linux
• $299 - 2 GB of RAM, 160 GB hard drive, linux
• $299 - 1 GB or RAM and an 80 GB hard drive, Windows XP
  

This Wii-looking PC will complement the new Eee PCs and will directly compete with Shuttle's KPC K-4500 Linux desktop. The Eee Box is scheduled to be released at U.S. retailers later this year.
